1. Acceptance of Terms
By making a reservation, checking in, or using any services at Hotel Golden Lagoon ("the Hotel"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Guest") and Hotel Golden Lagoon.
2. Reservations and Bookings
2.1 Booking Confirmation
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the Hotel. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us via email or other written communication.
2.2 Payment Terms
- Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking
- Payment can be made via cash, credit card, or bank transfer
- All rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified
- Rates are subject to applicable taxes and service charges
2.3 Rate Changes
Room rates are subject to change without notice. However, confirmed reservations will honor the rate quoted at the time of booking confirmation.
3. Check-in and Check-out
Standard Times:
- Check-in: 2:00 PM
- Check-out: 12:00 PM
3.1 Early Check-in and Late Check-out
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Requests should be made in advance.
3.2 Identification Requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all guests at check-in. Foreign nationals must present their passport and valid visa.
3.3 Age Requirements
Guests must be 18 years or older to check in. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Standard Cancellation
- Cancellations made 48 hours before check-in: Full refund
- Cancellations made 24-48 hours before check-in: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in: No refund
- No-shows: No refund
4.2 Special Events and Peak Seasons
Different cancellation policies may apply during special events, festivals, or peak seasons. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
4.3 Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), the Hotel will work with guests to reschedule or provide appropriate compensation.
5. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities
5.1 Acceptable Behavior
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and comply with all hotel policies. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave for:
- Disruptive or inappropriate behavior
- Violation of local laws or regulations
- Damage to hotel property
- Disturbance to other guests
5.2 Smoking Policy
Hotel Golden Lagoon is a non-smoking property. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and indoor areas. Designated smoking areas are available outdoors.
5.3 Pets
Pets are not permitted in the hotel, except for registered service animals with proper documentation.
6. Hotel Facilities and Services
6.1 Room Amenities
Room amenities are as described in our marketing materials. The Hotel reserves the right to substitute amenities of equal or greater value if necessary.
6.2 Facility Access
Access to hotel facilities (Golden Celebration Hall, Business Meeting Center, etc.) may be subject to additional charges and advance booking requirements.
6.3 Service Interruptions
The Hotel is not liable for temporary interruptions in services due to maintenance, repairs, or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Hotel Liability
The Hotel's liability is limited to the cost of accommodation. We are not responsible for:
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Injuries sustained on the premises (except due to hotel negligence)
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Acts of third parties or force majeure events
7.2 Guest Insurance
Guests are advised to obtain appropriate travel and personal insurance coverage for their stay.
7.3 Valuables
The Hotel provides safe deposit facilities. We recommend guests use these facilities for valuable items. The Hotel is not responsible for items left unsecured in guest rooms.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Guest information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By staying with us, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Hotel Golden Lagoon and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India and the state of Punjab.
10.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these terms or your stay at the Hotel shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Amritsar, Punjab.
10.3 Mediation
We encourage guests to first attempt to resolve any disputes through direct communication with hotel management before pursuing legal action.
11. Modifications to Terms
Hotel Golden Lagoon reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will apply to all future bookings. Existing confirmed reservations will be governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.
